This song is also known as Shove the Pig’s Foot, or sometimes just Shove Pig. The full name is ‘Shove the Pig’s Foot a little Further in the Fire,’ and a pig is a small piece of metal used in various types of metalwork.

Once you’ve learnt the basic stroke, you need to add in all the Left Hand techniques such as Hammer-Ons, Pull-Offs and Slides to get that extra rhythm and melody.
